About Replicates
Light the small thing as carefully as the big one.
Replicates is a photo and video studio on Kloosterstraat, in the old south of Antwerp. We work for jewellers, fashion labels, the port, design shops and the agencies who represent them.
Half our week is very small: a stone, a ring, a watch face, shot on black velvet with points of light. The other half is very large: cranes, ships and warehouses the size of a village.
Fashion here is serious. Graduates of the academy come to us for their first lookbook, and some of them still come back ten years later.
Stills and film come from one crew and one colour plan, so a catalogue, a shop window and a short film all look like the same brand.

Who we shoot for
Most jobs are within a day’s drive of Antwerp. Further afield we travel with the core crew and hire assistants locally, and travel is quoted at cost.
Product and e-commerce
Packshots on clean white and in context, sized and named for every shop and marketplace the brand sells on.
Portraits and teams
Staff, founders and boards photographed in one sitting, with a matching set that can grow when people join.
Makers and manufacturing
Workshops, machines and the hands on them, shot without stopping the line any longer than needed.
Tourism and regions
Places, seasons and the people who live there, for tourist boards, guides and the agencies who brief them.
Culture and events
Exhibitions, festivals and performances, with a fast edit for the next morning and a slower one for the archive.
Agencies and producers
Crew, kit and finishing for campaigns that an agency writes and we shoot, with call sheets in their format.
